After being in the first place in the world’s most innovative countries top for three years in a row, Sweden is giving way to Switzerland

The report, published by INSEAD, the leading international business school, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a specialized agency of the United Nations, shows that top 25 countries are the same every year.

The Global Innovation Index is measured using 84 indicators, which include the quality of universities, availability of microfinance and venture capital.

The ten most innovative countries in the world are: Switzerland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Netherlands, United States of America, Finland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Denmark, Ireland.

 

The world’s most valuable brands, dominated by IT&C companies

 

Last year, Apple maintained the first position among the world’s most valuable brands, while Facebook recorded the fastest growing, increasing its value with 7%.

Google and IBM switched positions from a year ago, the first mentioned recording a 3% lost of its brand value and moving on the 3rd place.

The ten most valuable brands in the world are: Apple, IBM, Google, Mc Donald’s, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Marlboro, AT&T, Verizon and China Mobile.
